Lighting the Fire: A Seasonal Invitation to Courage and Clarity
Share
Rhythm Over Ritual
We’ve moved beyond trendy “portal” talk and back into what’s real.
And what’s real right now? The heat of high summer. The season of ripening. The moment when the outer world burns bright, just before the slow turn inward begins. This is not a time to force goals or summon the stars.
It’s a time to ask:
What inner flame wants to stay lit as the season shifts?
The Fire Is Already Here
You don’t need to call in the fire; it’s all around you. The sun is in Leo, the fixed fire sign of bold expression, sacred confidence, and creative leadership.
The land is alive with ripeness, fruit is ready for harvest, and fields are buzzing with heat.
Something may be stirring within you. A truth. A desire. A calling to act, speak, or simply be seen. But how you respond to this fire, well, that’s personal.
Because fire can illuminate, or it can burn. It can warm your vision or push you into performance. That’s why we turn to rhythm, not hype. That is why we use your Lunar Archetype to guide how you relate to this moment.
Ritual: Gentle Fire Tending
Essential Oil: Ginger (for courage) or Lemon (for clarity) [you can even use a fresh lemon or lemon juice if you do not have Lemon EO. The same goes for Ginger root. Just be careful not to touch your eyes and wash your hands after]
Element: Fire
Dilute 1 drop of Ginger or Lemon and anoint your heart or solar plexus (which is in the upper abdomen)
Place your hands over this space and take 3 slow breaths
Ask yourself:
What fire in me deserves to be protected, not pushed?
As you exhale, whisper:
“I carry my fire with care.”
This practice is less about activation and more about tending. You’re not lighting the match, you’re learning how to hold it.
Archetype Check-In: How Is Fire Moving Through You?
Here’s how this seasonal energy may feel for each archetype, depending on where you are in your personal rhythm:
🌑 Dreamer (New Moon Archetype)
You may feel a quiet urge to begin, but also hesitation. This fire could feel like a spark waiting for the right kindling.
Prompt: What longing am I still afraid to name?
🌒 Seeker (Waxing Crescent Archetype)
This is forward momentum energy for you. Fire fuels your sense of purpose—but be mindful not to scatter your sparks.
Prompt: What direction feels warm and focused?
🌓 Warrior (First Quarter Archetype)
Courage is your keyword. The fire may be calling you into tension or action. Trust your boldness.
Prompt: Where am I being asked to act, even if it’s messy?
🌔 Refiner (Waxing Gibbous Archetype)
Fire for you is clarifying. It may burn away what no longer fits the vision.
Prompt: What needs to be simplified or realigned to feel true?
🌕 Illuminator (Full Moon Archetype)
Your fire is visible; others feel it. The question is: does it come from truth or performance?
Prompt: Where am I shining from authenticity, and where from expectation?
🌖 Teacher (Waning Gibbous Archetype)
You may feel called to share, speak, or guide, but this fire must be rooted in personal wisdom, not obligation.
Prompt: What truth is mine to offer now, and what isn’t?
🌗 Alchemist (Third Quarter Archetype)
This fire could feel uncomfortable; it may be burning away what’s ready to end. Let it.
Prompt: What inner structure is collapsing so something more honest can rise?
🌘 Mystic (Waning Crescent Archetype)
The flame might be barely visible, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. Your fire lives in the subtle.
Prompt: What sacred spark am I protecting until the time is right?
The Fire Doesn’t Rush
This part of the season isn’t about speed. It’s about clarity.
It’s the warmth before the harvest. The light before the long descent.
Don’t worry if you’re not “feeling the portal” or rushing to manifest.
The fire inside you is already lit.
Your job is to tend it, with awareness, with care, and in rhythm with who you really are.
You don’t need a date on the calendar to give you permission.
You just need your rhythm.
